The Red Mile podcast was founded in 2018 by brothers Cameron and Nathan Woolridge.

Both Red Mile hosts were born in Newfoundland, but lived in Northern Alberta for most of their lives. Currently, Cameron is living in Edmonton studying for his Police Investigations diploma for Grant MacEwan University. Nathan lives in Calgary (a few blocks away from the Red Mile) and is currently studying for his Bachelor of Communications, with a major in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.

Cameron and Nathan have been Calgary Flames fans for as long as they can remember. Their favourite Flames players growing up were Miikka Kiprusoff and Jarome Iginla, respectively.

Cameron and Nathan started this podcast to have a chance to frequently come together and talk about their favourite team and to share that with other fans.

The Red Mile name was chosen to represent the history and the future of the team and the podcast; honouring Calgary tradition and helping remind people of some nostalgic moments.

The Red Mile Podcast hopes that you enjoy the podcast and we can’t wait to continue our growth as a podcast.
