Flames unveil 40th Anniversary logo

On Aug. 19, the Calgary Flames unveiled their 40th Anniversary logo to fans. The Atlanta Flames relocated to Calgary in 1980 and in the Flames’ 2019-20 season, the team will be celebrating 40 years in the city.

The Calgary Flames revealed their 40th Anniversary logo, which will be displayed at centre of ice of the Saddledome for an entire season.

The Flames released that the anniversary logo will be placed at centre ice for the entire season.

Otherwise, the Flames have told fans to wait for more details on the anniversary season.

“Details on events to celebrate the 40th season will be announced in the near future. For all 40th season content, including a time-lapse of the new 40th season centre-ice logo being put in on Saddledome ice, keep an eye on CalgaryFlames.com or the Flames app,” they said in a statement.
